The International Comparative Legal Guide (ICLG): Gambling edition of 2024 is available. The Global Legal Group published this edition on 28 November 2023. The edition covers gambling legislation and related topics and developments from different jurisdictions.
Like last year, Kalff Katz & Franssen was proud to contribute to the ICLG. In the chapter on the Netherlands, Dr Alan Littler and Joris Crone describe, among other things, the current state of the gambling market in the Netherlands, the process of applying for a licence, the enforcement strategy of the Netherlands Gambling Authority (Kansspelautoriteit), and expected developments and changes in 2024. For example, changes with regards to playing limits are on the horizon, and the Remote Gambling Act will see a complete evaluation in 2024.
