From 14 to 17 November 2023, KKF’s Gaming & Gambling Team will attend one of Europe’s biggest gaming conferences, the SiGMA Europe Summit 2023 in Malta.
The legalised remote gambling market has been open for two years. There are plenty of developments to talk about, for both operators and suppliers. These include, for example, the political climate regarding gambling, opportunities, addiction prevention developments and AML compliance. As part of the SiGMA Europe Summit 2023, the International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA) is hosting several panel discussions on a variety of topics on Tuesday morning (14 November 2023). Justin Franssen, partner at Kalff Katz & Franssen advocaten, will be part of the panel discussion “The ongoing impact of advertising restrictions” from 11:25 to 12:15. This panel will address the impact of advertising restrictions on regulated gaming markets. This could include the new restrictions were recently imposed in Belgium and the Netherlands, existing restrictions that have been in place for some time in Spain, Italy and Denmark, and ongoing talks about similar bans in countries such as the UK and the US.
