Chris Adriaansz

Chris deals with various issues for clients active in the gaming and gambling sector and related sectors. He actively supports the team in writing legal opinions and conducting various procedures relating to civil and administrative law. He has a special focus on licence notifications following mergers and acquisitions, integrity assessments, and AML and CFT related matters.

Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in European Law and a master’s degree (cum laude) in Public and Administrative Law. His thesis on the use of algorithms by administrative bodies has been awarded with two thesis prizes. In addition, he has published articles in several trade journals.

Chris Adriaansz has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister):

– General law practice,

– Administrative law: European law, Adminstrative procedural law, Administrative enforcement law

Based on this registration, he is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
